                         "HARINI"-LET MY BELOVED REMAIN AS A  FREE HIND

                                            মায়া-বন-বিহারিণী     হরিণী 
                                          [ O, My] Illusory- forest-trotting  hind, 
                                                            গহন -স্বপন -সঞ্চারিণী 
                                              [Who] travels through [my] deepest dream
                                         কেন তারে     ধরিবারে   করি   পণ 
                                             Why should I try..to catch her and tie
                                                                                      অকারণ  I  ১
                                                                               There is no ground
                                                                          [to put her into a pound ]
                                                  থাক থাক নিজ মনে 
                                                 Ler she stay, stay.. as her mind wants
                                                    আমি শুধু  বাঁশরির সুরেতে
                                                    I only by my flute's tune
                                                      পরশ  করিব  ওর  প্রাণ-মন
                                                       Touch her mind ans soul,
                                                                                               অকারণ ।  ২ 
                                                                        Just for that, -no ground.
                                                                               

                                                   চমকিবে ফাগুনের পবনে ,
                                                 Startled by the Spring's breeze
                                                  পশিবে আকাশবাণী  শ্রবণে, 
                                                Voice from Sky shall will shiver her ears
                                                 চিত্ত  আকুল হবে অনুখন 
                                               {Her} heart will evr be filled with thril
                                                                                                    অকারণ।  ৩
                                                                          I wish that-but no ground.
                                                                                 
                                                   দূর হতে আমি তারে সাধিব,
                                                     From distace I shall entreat her
                                                  গোপন বিরহ-ডোরে বাঁধিব 
                                                      Secret cords of hear's crave shall tie her
                                                  বাঁধানো বিহীন সেই যে বাঁধন, 
                                                    Cordless that tye. enough for me,
                                                                                           অকারণ। ৪
                                                                            Just like that-No ground
                                                                      ....................................................

      * মায়া -There is no exact English expression of  Sankrit word-"Maya"-English Dictionary..calls it Illusary or Magical..it also commonly means .." a feeling of empaty and attraction /longing for someone-with great force. *Here we use it safely translate it by the word "Illusory"
