                              তবু মনে রেখো ,
                             Still do remember me,
                             যদি দূরে যাই চলে।
                     Even if, I go away-far away.
                             যদি পুরাতন প্রেম,
                           Even if, our old love,
                       ঢাকা পড়ে যায় নবপ্রেমজালে।
                    Gets wrapped under [your] new Love-net,
                                   তবু মনে রেখো।
                                  Still do remember me.

                                     যদি থাকি কাছাকাছি,
                                         If I stay near you,
                                  দেখিতে না পাও-
                                Still you cannot see me,
                               ছায়ার মতন আছি না আছি—
                                    Like a shadow-I exist or not;
                                         তবু মনে রেখো।
                                     Still do remember me.

                               যদি জল আসে আঁখিপাতে,
                                If tears ever appears at thy eyes,
                         এক দিন যদি খেলা থেমে যায় মধুরাতে,
                           Once when my stay on Earth ends in a Spring-full night,
                                            তবু মনে রেখো।
                                         Still do remember me.

                                এক দিন যদি বাধা পড়ে কাজে ,
                                  One day, if you feel not to work
                                       শারদ প্রাতে-- মনে রেখো।
                               In a morning of Autumn; do remember me-then.
                          যদি পড়িয়া মনে ছলোছলো জল
                              In case, my memories do not draw
                          নাই দেখা দেয় নয়নকোণে—
                             Any more, tears do not appear in your eyes
                                     তবু মনে রেখো।
                                Still, do remember me !!
